| Which glass do you supply? Can you supply tinted glass? |
We predominantly supply 10mm Clear Toughened Glass. We can offer tinted & also Laminated glass as well.

| What are the glass size sections? How many glasses is each run made from? |
| For ease of installation and transport we divide the glasses so the largest pane does not exceed 1.2m length. |

| Why do you leave a gap between the glasses? And how big is the gap? |
| We leave a 30mm gap between glass panels for three reasons: 1)No smaller than 30 so fingers/rings do not get trapped 2) Not abutted for expansion and 3) for ease of installation and alingment |

| I can see that the bottom rail is continuous, do you have a solution to allow water drainage? |
| Yes, we can supply, as part of the system, 5mm packers that will sit beneath each fixing point and so allow a 5mm gap that allows water to pass freely underneath the bottom rail.

| Can I have a Juliette that goes between the reveals? |
| Yes, this is not a standard item but can be made. To get further information please contact our sales office regarding this. |

| Do you Manufacture the Balcony Structure? |
| We manufacture the balustrade only, not the balcony structure. Our system will suit almost any balcony structure.

| What is the U value of the glass supplied with your curved doors? |
| In the Visioglide 100 system we supply 28mm double glazing with a U value of 1.9 W/m2K.

| What glass do you supply with the curved doors? |
| In the Visioglide 100 system we supply 28mm toughened double glazing. Made up of 6mm clear toughened inner pane - 16 mm air cavity - 6mm Low-E toughened external pane.

| What colours can the balustrades or Juliettes be supplied in? |
We have four standard colours; White, Silver, Bronze and our unique "Royal Chrome" finish.
We can supply other colours but only on projects that have enough quantity to allow this.

| How are the corner joined? are they welded? |
| The corners of the balustrades are mechanically joined with a special internal aluminium plate. They are not welded.

| Is anodizing better or worse than stainless steel? |
| Stainless steel despite its name will tend to tarnish and will usually not live up to the expectations. Anodized aluminium, especially our "Royal Chrome", is far superior in corrosion resistance and longevity and will not require the amount of regular maintenance that stainless steel will.

| What is the minimum radius you can have a curved door? |
| The minimum radius we can manufacture the curved doors to is 1000mm.

| What is the maximum height you can make your curved doors? |
We do not recommend making them over a height of 2600mm.

| Are the balustrades suitable for stairs? |
| Our systems are designed to suit balconies and terraces, they are not designed for stair railings. |

| Have your Balustrade Systems been tested? |
| Yes, our balustrade systems have been thoroughly tried and tested, on site and off site. In June 2004 we commissioned Sandberg LLP, independent testing & consulting engineers, to test our systems with regards to compliance to BS6180:1999 & BS6399:1996. | Is the Balcony balustrade Systems a Structural Glass System? |
| No, it is not a structural glass balustrade. It is a composite system utilizing both the glass and the Handrail to take the loads. Utilizing the handrail allows the balustrade to span certain lengths without the need for vertical posts. Once these are exceeded we must introduce vertical posts.
