Pallet Network (Metalwork & Glass) - Delivery Option Explained:
For our balustrades that are delivered outside our Balconette fleet radius, or as an option to other delivery choices, the whole balcony system will arrive on one vehicle. Our trusted pallet network delivery service providers are industry experts and understand that our products are unique and require expertise when handling and transporting.
What access is required?
- Pallet network deliveries will deliver your balcony system in one drop, and it is likely to arrive on a 10-18 tonne curtainside vehicle with a near tail lift.
- You will need to ensure that there are no vehicle or parking restrictions for the 10-18 tonne vehicle and that there is sufficient turning space.

How are my products packaged?
- The entirety of your products will arrive on a single delivery.
- The profile sections, posts and assembly accessories are packaged in separate reinforced carton boxes and are then strapped onto pallets.
- All panels of glass will be packaged and strapped onto a wooden stillage(s). In smaller orders that do not have many panels of glass, these glass panels can be framed and strapped with the metalwork pallets.

How are my products offloaded?
- Pallet network providers offer curbside delivery. What this means is that the driver will park the vehicle in a position closest to your premises and will use the rear tail lift to mechanically lower the glass stillage to ground level. A pump truck will be used to lift and offload your glass stillage curbside at the edge of your premises.
- For handrails and parts that measure up to 2100mm and below, the metalwork will be offloaded by the rear tail lift and a pump truck will be used to position the pallet at the edge of your premises. The recipient(s) will need to be present to assist offloading the goods.
- For handrails and/or parts that measure 2100mm and above, you will be notified by a member of our team that you will be receiving delivery on a curtainside vehicle. The maximum width of the vehicle's backdoor is 2250mm which is why larger balcony systems need to be offloaded via the side of the vehicle where a tarpaulin curtain is retracted to allow access for oversized goods. When a curtainside vehicle is used, you will need to coordinate to either have a forklift present to lift and lower the pallets or have personnel present who can cut the pallet straps securing the metalwork and remove the separate metalwork boxes and accessory box from the vehicle. If you choose the second option, you will still need to remove the pallet(s) from the vehicle.
- Placement of the goods inside your property by the driver is not permitted and it is your responsibility as the customer to dispose of the wooden stillage(s), pallet(s) and any protective packaging.

When will my delivery arrive?
- Our products are made to order so delivery will only be available once production of your system has been completed.
- A member of our in-house logistics team will be in touch to discuss delivery date availability and you will be able to select a convenient date from a range.
- A morning (9am – 12pm) or afternoon (12.30pm - 5pm) timeslot will be provided.
- If for any reason you need to change your booked delivery date, you can do this at no extra cost if you provide us with 48 hours' notice.
- Variations in service means that there is a possibility your delivery might be delayed, therefore, to avoid disappointment you should schedule your installers to arrive only once your entire order has been delivered in full.
- There must be a recipient present at the shipping address to accept delivery on the day.
How are my products tracked?
- A tracking consignment number will be emailed to you that can be used on the pallet network provider’s website on the day of shipment so that you can track your goods.
- Make a cursory inspection when the goods arrive to check that all items have been received and that there are no visible damages to the packages. In the rare occasion you notice missing or damaged products, please disclose this information with any supporting images to our team immediately so we can resolve your issue promptly.
COVID-19
The safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. Our drivers will be wearing protective facemasks when they visit your premises. During your delivery, please ensure that you maintain social distancing from our delivery team. All our deliveries offer a curbside service therefore they are contact-free which helps to minimise the risk of transmission. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we no longer require customers to sign for a delivery if they wish for the delivery to remain entirely contact-free, instead our driver will take a photo of the successful delivery.
