No posts in their Balconette balustrade ‘makes a world of difference’, according to homeowners in Heathfield lucky enough to enjoy extensive and unspoilt views over the East Sussex countryside.

Keith and Linda Ward wanted a glass balustrade, that was installed by their builder, to keep the clear views from a new extension added to the rear of their detached property.

Having discovered Balconette via an internet search, it was only a short trip to the company’s Lingfield headquarters where they sealed the deal after discussing their requirements with the technical team.

Measuring just under five metres in total, their Balconette Aerofoil Glass Balustrade System has its wing-shaped handrail finished in the company’s proprietary Royal Chrome finish that replicates the appearance of brushed stainless steel.

Commenting on the decision-making process, Keith says: “Balconette’s website was very good, along with the reviews on display, which was reassuring. But a visit to the showroom was necessary to confirm our decision to go with them. It was a simple process in deciding what we wanted.”

What particularly delighted the couple was the fact they could achieve a post-less balustrade, thanks to the Aerofoil’ System’s unique structural capabilities. “After consultation with Balconette’s experts, they were able to advise we would not need any posts between the glass panels. This of course makes a world of difference to the overall effect,” continues Keith.

Delivery of the balustrade ‘was exactly what they promised’ and the installation went smoothly.

Now looking forward to warmer weather and the chance to enjoy their new elevated outside views, the couple concludes: “The end result of the extension would not be the same if the Balconette balustrade was not there. We love its appearance and would highly recommend the company!”
