STAINLESS STEEL GLASS BALUSTRADE

Stainless Steel Glass Balustrade

STAINLESS STEEL GLASS BALUSTRADE: GO ONE BETTER!

The stainless steel glass balustrade is a great choice for balustrading a decking or pool area or creating a breathtaking glass banister or glass balcony.

Stainless steel is strong and durable, resists tarnishing and staining and you can polish it up so that it looks gorgeous.

Even so, it has drawbacks: stainless steel is heavy and relatively costly for a start. It does tarnish and discolour over time and requires dedicated cleaning and maintenance to keep it shiny and spotless.

Glass Balustrade with Stainless Steel Balustrade

At Balcony Systems we use anodised aluminium because of its many advantages over steel: it is less expensive and lighter, yet packs super-strength for its weight. Not only that, anodised aluminium performs better than stainless steel in its resistance to staining, tarnishing and corrosion.

Our handrails come in a choice of finishes: powdered coated, natural silver or bronze-anodised and of course our proprietary finish –Royal Chrome if the “stainless steel” look is what you prefer:

Our specially developed “Royal Chrome” finish looks like polished stainless steel and keeps that look longer, even in the harshest conditions, with almost no need for maintenance.

Glass Balustrade with Royal Chrome handrail

If you are looking for a low-maintenance, highly durable stainless steel glass balustrade with all the advantages of the lightness, strength, affordability and durability of anodised aluminium, plus the beauty of stainless steel, then our glass balustrades provide the solution.

For a glass banister or any application of glass balustrading, you can go one better than stainless steel with our state-of-the-art “Royal Chrome” coated anodised aluminium.
